Asset and Resource Management Company Ltd (ARM) celebrated its 20 years anniversary in grand style with the unveiling of an iconic project “Lakowe Lakes Golf and Country Estate” on May 1^st 2014.

The event which saw directors and top gamers in real estate sector come together to celebrate ARM’s remarkable achievements over the past 20 years, commenced with a golf championship tournament as companies and golfers took the centre stage to battle for ultimate prizes.

Welcoming guests at Lakowe,  Mr Wale Odutola, Managing Director, ARM Properties said that their objective over the long term is to do something different with Real Estate, hospitality  and golf  at least by resuscitating the Nigerian Golf cup at Lakowe by 2015

Mr. Odutola believes that celebrating ARM’s 20^th anniversary on one of its important investment as something heart pleasing. He described the essence of the event as an opportunity to showcase the remarkable development in the real estate and hospitality sector, merging both to achieve something different in Nigeria. Being on course to do so, Mr Odutola disclosed that a world class academy on the drive range with extensive practicing facilities for beginners, will kick start as from next year. The academy is aimed at building golf at the grass root and also aimed at getting secondary schools involved in the game. He further disclosed the chances of also having a junior championship in the course of the year.

At the end of proceedings, awards and cash prizes were awarded to winners of the golf championship as guests were treated to great taste of music and top notch cuisines at the cutting of the cake by the board of directors – ARM.

Being promoted by ARM, Lakowe Lakes Golf and Country Estate is a 308 hectare development, with an 18-hole championship golf course, aimed at setting a new international standard for golf courses in West Africa.
