The Director, Business Development, Shelter Afrique, an agency of African Union (AU), responsible for housing finance across the continent, Mr. Mouhamadou Gueye, has reiterated the agency’s commitment to inject $200 million into Nigeria’s housing sector within the next 2 to 3 years.
“Our strategy will be focused on affordable housing mass housing for both the middle and lower segments of the society, as all the required Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed with all concerned.” he said.
Gueye spoke in Abuja week end, while pledging Shelter Afrique’s resolve to work with the Real Estate Development Association of Nigeria (REDAN), in actualizing federal government’s 10,000 housing projects within the next three years.
