Development: UPDC set to deliver Pinnacle Luxury Estate Abuja in 18 Months
The UACN Property Development Company Plc on Friday commenced the development of a 27-apartment luxury estate in Abuja. The firm said the estate, which has been christened: ‘The Pinnacle,’ would help meet the housing needs of residents of the Federal Capital Territory. It said the housing units would have luxurious finishes with fitted kitchens.
Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony for the project, the Managing Director, UPDC, Mr. Hakeem Ogunniran, said one of the major aims of locating the estate in the FCT was to meet the yearnings of selected residents of the capital city.
He noted that the Federal Government’s drive to provide adequate housing for Nigerians was also a key reason why the firm decided to develop choice buildings in the city.
Ogunniran said, “This is also one way of supporting the Federal Government’s transformation agenda in terms of providing homes for Nigerians.
“This is going to be a luxury estate and we hope to meet the housing needs of people who love luxury buildings when this project is completed.”
The UPDC boss said the project would be completed within 18 months, adding that it would be developed on a land size of about 5,000 square metres. The estate, Ogunniran said, would consist of 20 units of three-bedroom flats, four units of four-bedroom flats, two units of four-bedroom maisonettes, and one unit of one-bedroom apartment. He said the firm’s team of professional facility managers would service the estate.
According to him, The Pinnacle is a joint venture between UPDC and Imani Holdings Limited, adding that a swimming pool, gymnasium, children’s playground and a club house were recreational facilities that would be provided in the estate. Ogunniran noted the project would be the first luxury estate to be developed by UPDC in Abuja though the company had developed five others in the FCT. “With this project, we hope to make lovers of luxury buildings happy in their homes,” he added
