Netherlands-based developer Dutch Docklands is considering areas of South Florida as well as areas in the New York City metro area for a $200 million, 500 to 1,000-acre floating development with housing, schools and shopping.

For its first U.S. project, the company is considering Miami, Miami Beach, Kendall, and the Florida Keys in South Florida; New York City; Cincinnati; and several towns in New Jersey, Miami Today reported.
