PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan’s dismissal of ministers on Wednesday last week was said to have political undertones, especially coming at a crucial time in the life of the administration and the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) currently embroiled in a crisis. Nine serving ministers including the minister of Housing Ms Ama Pepple were dismissed by President Goodluck Jonathan’s Administration.
The government clearly stated that the reshuffle in cabinet was for the need of enhanced performance, transparency and accountability in governance. Mohammed Musa Dada is now the acting Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development.
