1. What is Gap Funding? The amount of money needed to fund the ongoing operations or future development of a project that is not currently provided by cash, equity or debt.

2. What is Due Diligence – “Due diligence” is the process of evaluating a prospective business decision by getting information about the financial, legal, and other material state of the other party.

3. What is Collective Investment Scheme under the ISA 2007 153 (1) “Collective investment scheme”, means a scheme in whatever form, including an open-ended investment company, in pursuance of which members of the public are invited or permitted to invest money or other assets in a portfolio.

4. Does the REIN fall under Collective Investment Scheme? No it does not because is  investment opportunity offered an individual or corporation who expresses interst

4. How is REIN different from REIT?

When investing in a REIT, most investors make payments to the regulator but the REIN has no access to investor’s funds. A REIT is open to the public while the REIN is client based brokerage investment service.

Yes it’s free to subscribe to REIN but with a minimum investment entry of N 1 Million Naira investing power

6.  What is Holding Period?

A hold period is the anticipated time investors will be involved with the investment until it is re-sold or the loan is paid off, and range from less than 6 months to greater than 5 years.
