TESTIMONIALS AT REAL ESTATE UNITE 2012 CONFERENCE
It has been very enriching in terms of effective balance of depth and cvergae of the various topics covering real estate development, investing and funding. However, in order to be able to sustain the value created at this phase, good facility management strategy is required but this aspect does not seem to be included. It is an aspect that can erode the value if not well managed.
-E. Gbadejo | Broll Property Services Ltd
Well it is good as a start, make more sense to real estate development in Nigeria. Also serve as a link to any investors.
-Femi Akintunde | Alpha Mead Facilities
I think the conference is an eye-opener to the challenges of the real estate industry and the roles of practitioners.
The conference was well organized and the quality of speakers is quite commendable.
I think you should improve on an environment where the exhibitors don’t stay in close proximity to the conference room owing to noise and distraction. Well done!!
-Jide Idowu | Black Onyx Ltd
I think your event thus far as been well organized and enlightening. However as an exhibitor I would say the turn up is below expectation. This is the first edition of the unite conference, and any other campaign, there is room for improvement. I trust subsequent editions would have a large attendance rate. The speakers are knowledgeable, vast and experienced, so there has been good information exchange and a lot to learn.
To this extent the first edition of the unite conference and exhibition has been successful.
-Oseghale Ojeme | Fine and Country International Realty
Real estate unite is a welcome development in the real estate sector and I believe the convergence of stalkholders and players the sector has no doubt bridged a gap and has ensured that the dream of having a vibrant Real Estate sector in the country is achieveable.
-Fabiyi Temidayo | Mutual Benefits Homes & Properties
A very innovative company. Quite impressive in the programme presentation, co-ordination of speakers and topics presented and discussed. However more involvement would have been required from the professionals in the real estate sector as well as from a developer with a track record.
-Mina Jack | Greater port-harcourt city development authority
Radically positive initiative in the real estate industry. Filling up a critical gap in the real estate market. I also believe they are dynamic, innovative and most importantly pacesetters.
-William C. Okpala | Williams & Partners
Programme has brought together several experts and professionals in the real estate sector and each session has been very informative. Enlightening and even some have been challenging!
Will certainly recommend future programmes for any serious minded player in the real estate sector.
-Tayo Sonuga | Haven Homes
I think the conference provided a great opportunity to delve into the industry and analyse various critical issues. I actually hope we receive copies of the presentations and we are able to have another conference next year. It would be good to hear from any legislator interms of ways they intend to fast track development of the sector, given the high local and international interest and the lack of an …….. environment.
-Kelechukwu Osuji | CBO Capital
I think it has a very informative experience and the nurturing has been good. The speakers have delivered on their topics and have been helpful in answering questions.
I believe real estate unite can grow to become bigger and attract a wider audience. It shouldn’t be restricted to lagos state; more efforrts should be made to bring in more developers and audiences from other states of the federation as well as international speakers businesses.
-Geraldine Ofoluwa | CBO Capital Partners Ltd
A very good beginning. It can only get better. Also, separate the exhibition from the main venue to avoid noise interference with the main programme.
-George Etomi | George Etomi and Partners
Real estate unite has brought together highly regarded and diverse panelist in the real estate industry, thuus providing a stimulating forum for discourse on factors/challenges militating against the growth of the sector in Nigeria.
-Funke Okubadejo | Actis
I think it’s a great opportunity to unite all stakeholders in this industry. It also created a platform for various businesses to expand and grow. I strongly believe its an important ingredient in the growth of the real estate sector.
-Olushile Owoka | Litmus property search
I think the real estate is a very commendable initiative. Bringing together the differnet players in the real estate industry is very critical to understanding the interests, needs and mindset of each segment, and initiating the needed synergy for better productivity of each segment and each player.
I suggest that beyond the conference effects should be made towards holding forces for deeper engagements and partnerships.
-Orji anyinuka | Vanguard media ltd
Good thinking, great idea.
Need to however refocus on addressing the critical urgent need of meeting housing deficit shortfall at the lower level of the housing sector (C, D & E socio-economic sectors).
Introduction of informating and home grown solutions to address deficit.
-Olaitan O. Komolafe IGI Plc / Global trust savings & loans
A good beginning. There is need to deepen the knowledge and experience base of the speakers etc. participations from services industry players would be needed in the next occasion i.e future seminars.
-Chuck Nduka-eze | Cosmopolitan Alliance ltd
This is a great innovation concept which has a huge potential for growth and to actualize the dream of aggregating all the players in the industry.
Please keep the dream alive and I can ensure you that the sky will be the limit. Very well done.
-Azimoh Caroline | Cityworks Nigeria
Real estate unite brought together various stakeholders in the industry and they ingalighted
Issues and opportunities within the industry in Nigeria. The panel mix made the conference glands on. I will surely attend the next conference.
-Kojo Sagoe | Aso Savings and Loans
It’s a good idea because it forums a cluster which creates a platform for the various facets that forums the real estate business to interact, share ideas, expertise and also meet the various needs of their partners
-Minena Dinma Fiberesima | George Etomi & Partners/Quartz Investment
I think that the idea behind this conference is excellent however there are some areas I feel would be improved upon.
-Niyi Tinubu | Samsaasareeyah international
The most innovative idea in Nigeria’s real estate market. Reminds me of the America real estate association (ARA) which is an organization that guides the overall real estate market in its directions, market predictions, development/redevelopments, funding sources etc. it will be a good idea for unite as an organization to get the federal government to open the importation of building materials in order to bring down the cost of building materials thereby encouraging more people to get into real estate development.
-Charles & Christy Onwuegbusi | American family group (nig) ltd
The real estate unite is a very good idea that should be organized often to bring more people involved in real estate to throw more light to this issue to the Nigeria people.
-Ijeoma Justus | Iklean Services
Its an interactive, expository program in which opportunities and threats are been identified at the seminar.
I look forward to the next unite program. I think there should be creation of more trafik to help the exhibitors. In all it has been a fantastic experience with a lot of knowledge acquired in terms of finance and investment.
-Muyiwa Aderinola | Skola O Etet Ltd
First of it kind. Bringing key players together under one roof. A little delay on timing, but simply breath taking and an outstanding event
-Eboh Kesiena Simpson | Megalectrics Ltd
Good event. My pleasure to speak. How can you encourage more attendees for the discussions. They do not all need to be paying to encourage attendance by key personnel of various firms that could enrich networking and raise prestige of event.
-Michael Chudi Ejekam | ACTIS
I think it’s a great start to a gathering that galvanizes the real estate industry and its participants. We have to build the momentum
-Niyi Adeleye | Stanbic IBTC plc
Welcome development and I understand this is a beginning and a good one at that. Looking forward to future editions.
-Olujide Ojo | Mutual Benefits Homes & Properties
I love the vision of this project which is uniting the Real Estate Sector on this part of the continent. Kudos, the event was insightful educative and an eye opener to what is happening in this sector. The achievements, problems, opportunities and how fill up the vacuum by investing and supporting this sector which will eventually contribute to the GDP of the country. The event was well organized although I feel the delegate fee was on a high side for a first edition. If it was 25,000 or 20,000 naira I believe you would have had more attendees, for next year, I suggest you expand your PR plan and reach out directly to individuals in this sector persuading them to attend, asides all these it was a great event.
-Janet Ifabiyi | Ventures Africa
The conference is a good idea. The venue, discussants and facilitation were first class. 3invest should be commended for such a great turnout for an inaugural conference. I hope that I get invited to speak again Next year!
-Egie Akpata | UBA Capital
Well organized event, capable and credible speakers but how to improve the level of patronage should be looked into. Also the noise coming into the seminar area from the exhibition stand should not be allowed to happen in the next edition.
-Gbadebo Adejana | School Of Estate
For a maiden event in a difficult sector, must commend the great feat in trying to unite a very fragmented sector. More networking & collaborative efforts to reaching larger stakeholder network still needed. Keep it Up!
-Afolabi Imoukhuede | DFID-GEMS2
I think its good as soon as key issues about real estate and the industry are being discussed, but I will really like to see it on a bigger platform.
-Alpha Mead Facilities and Management services Ltd
Brilliant initiative, great opportunity for networking
-Oghogho Fred-Ekajeti | Pison Housing Company
It is a very laudible initiative! Kudos to 3invest.com the conference was very expository. Real Estate Unite created great opportunity for networking and created hope for the growth of the sector.
-Chinazo Okoye | Enterprise Development Centre, Pan African University
For an inaugural event, the organizers did a good job of bringing real estate professionals together and we look forward to more conferences of this type.
-Obiajulu Uzoigwe | Broll Property services limited
Good concept, well organized
-Tokunbo Adeosun | Rifeng piping Systems
It is a fantastic idea and provides a great opportunity for the association of different companies. Also provided a great learning opportunity. I applaud the idea and look towards the 2013
-Fine and Country International
It was a real eye opener. Truth is, I learnt a lot from the presentations, especially in terms of mortgage financing.
-Daniel Iyam | Real House Communication (Castle Weekly)
I think the idea is a good one that can be improved on. Considering, it’s a maiden edition; there were obvious hitches in the event that can be worked on. Also try to communicate better to us in regards planning e.g. standards requires moving into a site at least a day before therefore in the event that won’t be possible inform us on time. A quick suggestion, publicize more to general public “highlighting” exhibition is free or for a token because the traffic of visitors is a necessity
-Tanya U. Rapu | Tanya’s Creation
Its actually a fantastic program. The power of networking this event has created is very massive. For the 1st time probably, it has been able to bring people that are in the business to exclusively network. So the chance of getting ROI is quite high. We have collected over 60 cards of individuals/corporate we can potentially market to. The decision to be part of this exhibition is a positive direction for our company.
-Obinna Asiegbu | 1ink Properties
Excellent, well organized, Structured informative and a pleasant atmosphere
-Obinna Nkwoji | 1ink Properties ltd
It is a good business in the area of estate project and land development
-Fidaa Hana | Comland Ghana Ltd
The Real Estate Unite was impressive.
-Mr Eddy Dahdouh | Pintar Services Ltd
Great start! This fills a much needed void it has been a great avenue to network and meet with the shapers of policy and leaders of thought in the coming Real Estate Revolution in Nigeria. Well Done!!
-Tunji Osinulu | Fine and Country
A good platform to network with people from different organization. I would say just one word “I had an opportunity to meet a lot of developers /agents.
-Duru Millicent | Giselle Services
