Speaking at the event John Zehner of Lasalle Investment Management stated gave a global views on Africa quoting funnily that “ You don’t need to be James Bond to balance the risk and reward of investing in Africa”.
Some of the speakers at the event were Hakeem Ogunniran, Managing Director of UPDC who talked about the right vehicle for your venture with emphasis on REIT. Simon Fremantle of Standard Bank Research gave an overview of economics in Africa whilst Brett Abrahamse of Terrace Africa outlined on Investing in Africa’s Real Estate. Adeniyi Adeleye of Stanbic IBTC , gave a regional comparison helping the audience compare the growth levels , players in the market and future prospect in the African Region.
